Can I take a combat sports class without competing?

Absolutely! Our Fight Team classes enable those who wish to compete to train for competition; however, all classes offer training to those who simply wish to learn more about the sport.

Can I compete in a combat sport and train at UFM?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you are looking to competitively train, our Fight Team classes train specificially for competitions. Our other available combat sports classes provide opportunities to become a more well-rounded fighter.

Are all your classes co-ed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our classes are co-ed unless otherwise stated (ex. Ladies Self-Defense).

Question 6

How young or old does my child need to be for Junior Spartans?

We design the classes for ages 5 to 13; however, admission is accepted on a case by case basis. Please get in touch if your child is older or younger and we will look at opportunities.

Question 7

Can I be a beginner and participate in the adult combat sports classes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all of our classes are designed to be beginner friendly. Almost every current member came to the gym with little to no previous experience in combat sports.

Question 8

What are your holiday hours?

Accepted Answer

We are closed on major observed holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and 4th of July. Be sure to check the schedule for other holidays and inclement weather.
